A person with Alzheimer’s disease will lose his or her ability to read and write from the very beginning. This means that during the early stages, the patient will have problems spelling the right words and most of the time, he or she will misspell. You will be able to spot this change in the patient clearly because he or she will start spelling the words incorrectly most of the time.

Even though it will not be easy to live with a person who can not read, write or speak properly; you should be able to adjust to the situation because plenty of people are in the same situation as you are and they have finally managed to live with an Alzheimer patient. It will not be easy, but you should be strong and you should not give up easily. Always remember that your loved one is also suffering because his or her whole life is not going to be the same again.
